Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 katori moong daal boiled


  • 1 onion roughly chopped


  • 2 tomatoes roughly chopped


  • 1 green chilli chopped


  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste


  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste


  • 1 tspn garam masala


  • 1/2 tspn hing


  • 2 tblspn chopped corriander leaves


  • 1 onion chopped


  • 1 chopped tomato


  • 1 small capsicum chopped


  • 2 or 3 cheese slices


  • 3 slices of bread


  • 2 to 3 chopped garlic cloves


  • 2 tblspn butter


  • 1 tblspn ghee


  • 1 tspn jeera


  • 1 tspn salt


  • 1 tspn chilli powder


  • 1/2 tspn black pepper


  • 1 tspn chilli flakes


  • 1 tspn oregano

Directions

  • Take a kadai and add 1 tblspn ghee.
  • When heated then add hing .
  • Now add roughly chopped onion and green chilli and saute it.
  • After 2 mins add roughly chopped tomato, ginger and garlic paste and saute it.
  • Cook it and off the gas.
  • Let it cool down and after cooling , blend it and make a fine paste.
  • Now again heat the kadai by adding ghee in it.
  • Then add jeera and onion and tomato paste in it.
  • Saute it by adding salt, garam masala and red chilli powder.Now add boiled daal and mix it very well.
  • After mixing cover it with the lid for 10 mins.
  • After then, take a masher and mash little bit.
  • Daal should not be so runny because we have to apply on the bread.
  • So make it little bit thick.
  • Stir it again and cover it with the lid for 5 mins.
  • When water gets evaporated then off the flame and let it cool down little bit.
  • Now take the bread slices and spread butter on it.
  • After butter , spread chopped garlic on the butter.
  • After garlic, apply the daal on the bread.
  • After daal, apply chopped onions, chopped capsicum and chopped tomatoes on it.
  • Sprinkle black pepper, chilli flakes and oregano on it.
  • And then put the chopped coriander leaves and small size of cheese on it.
  • Place these breads in the preheated oven at 170 degree for 10 to 15 mins.
  • After that remove these bruchhetta from the oven and serve it with green chutney or u can have it without chutney also.
  • Here our daal bruchhetta are ready to eat and these are very healthy and nourishing as it contains daal and cheese which are protein packed.
